Known as EFT for short, this therapy uses gentle tapping or holding of acupuncture points located mainly on the hands and face. It may help to alleviate emotional problems or self limiting beliefs about ourselves which often, in turn, cause stress or anxiety. Some of the symptoms it may be effective for are: the relief of depression, anger, removal of cravings, PTSD and psychosomatic pain. Clients usually see improvements in their first couple of appointments but some further treatment may be needed.
